These\u00a0businesses do not only increase the quality of life of the population,\u00a0but also support one another through the common\u00a0development and marketing of regional products and services.<\/p>\n
There are numerous associations in Zieuwent, that are attractive\u00a0for all age groups and interests. They reflect the community\u00a0spirit and the people\u2019s readiness to take responsibility\u00a0for the wellness of the village. All these activities are coordinated\u00a0by Zieuwent\u2019s Belang. This association is the link between\u00a0associations and institutions, between citizens and\u00a0the public management. It boosts the development of the\u00a0village and works actively to maintain the village\u2019s quality of\u00a0life. This includes, among other things, the common financing\u00a0and implementation of nonprofit projects within the\u00a0village.<\/p>\n
About ten years ago, the village plan Zieuwent 2005\u20132015\u00a0was created and served as starting point for the development\u00a0of the village. Inhabitants were just as involved in this\u00a0creation as the decision makers in the fields of economyand agriculture. A main focus was put on the development\u00a0of the village center. Aside from concrete creational questions,\u00a0such as the redesign of the village square or the installment of green areas, the revitalization of the center was\u00a0a main aspect. Appropriate construction of living spaces was\u00a0a concern as well as the economic and industrial needs. The\u00a0revitalization of the center was realized through the active\u00a0involvement of the population as well as committed support\u00a0from local enterprises. Especially exemplary is the clear focus\u00a0on inner development, as shown by the construction of centrally\u00a0located apartments for sale and rent, mainly for elderly\u00a0people as well as young adults.<\/p>\n
Further successfully realized projects of the village development\u00a0in Zieuwent are the construction of village community\u00a0house as well as the building of a multifunctional center for\u00a0kids and adolescents. Childcare as well as a broad variety of\u00a0leisure activities are offered there. Another initiative is the\u00a0sanitation and maintenance of the former church path network\u00a0as a foot and bicycle path network, which connects all\u00a0parts of the area as well as the surrounding culture landscape\u00a0and the center.<\/p>\n
